If you haven’t already purchased the property for your new home, Steve is happy to assist you in choosing a lot/land based on many factors including location, direction, slope, home site size, price point, and school district. Our goal is to design the home to compliment the home site, without sacrificing the natural beauty of the property.
We offer an in-house architect who can assist you in the Design or we can work from a 3rd party set of plans acquired from an architect or an online designer/architect resource. It is always helpful to start collecting pictures and floor plans of homes that fit your needs. If you have already acquired a full set of construction plans and detailed specifications, we are happy to bid and provide you with a proposal for your project. We understand that modifications to your plan may need to be made. We are here for you to evaluate different options and scenarios to the project if needed.
Steve Clayton will assist you through the pre-construction process ensuring a stress free experience. He is committed to being straight forward with you in making informed and meaningful decisions. Once all the preliminary work is done, the construction of your home begins! The builder, Steve Clayton, will be in constant communication with you throughout the construction process. Regular appointments with Steve can be scheduled at anytime onsite.
Selections are a very important part of the construction process. We understand that building a new home can be an overwhelming experience. We will keep you up to date on selections and scheduling as your new home progresses and communicate when selections are due. We have a great relationship with preferred vendors that we use, but are flexible in using who you prefer.
Prior to completion of your home, we will perform a final walkthrough ensuring that construction is completed to your satisfaction. Steve Clayton is available to you after construction to address any concerns you may have. We take great pride in the homes we build and want you and your family to be as proud of your home as we are.
Relationship is very important to us even after your project is complete!
Once you approve the architectural plans and budget pricing, we will be ready to finalize the contract price. You will be presented with the plans, pricing, and detailed specifications, allowances, and time to complete the home. There are several up front items that need to be done prior to construction.
